Cr Schrinner will be placed fifth on the ballot, while Mr Condren will be placed seventh.
The Lord Mayor said he hoped number five would be his lucky number, and confirmed that the LNP would be asking residents to just vote 1 for their party.
“I don’t read too much into these things,” Cr Schrinner said.
“On that ballot paper, there are a lot of different candidates but there is really only two main choices – a Team Schrinner administration focused on the future of Brisbane or a Labor-Greens coalition through a preference deal.”
Mr Condren said the number seven was “Harry Potter’s number” and that he hoped to “weave some magic” on election day.
“I’m 110 per cent ready,” he said.
“There will be plenty of big vision ticket items in the next few weeks. I’m not going to spill all of the cookies all at once.”
