The preliminary results of an investigation into the sudden death of a man in the Western Downs have been revealed with police ruling the incident as non-suspicious.
Initial information indicates emergency services were called to a Wood St address about 8.30am Monday where a deceased man was discovered on the grass outside of the property.
Queensland Police established a crime scene while forensic investigations were conducted, and closed Wood St for most of Monday, however the street has now been reopened.
On Tuesday police confirmed the incident was not being treated as suspicious.
The man’s identity remains unknown and neighbours described him as a “quiet man who kept to himself”.
