Fire investigation launched into Beutel Street house blaze at Chinchilla

Emergency services rushed to the scene of a house fire at Chinchilla last night. Here’s everything we know so far.

The Queensland Fire and Emergency Service is investigating the cause of a house fire at Beutel Street, Chinchilla.

A QFES spokeswoman said the blaze took hold in the rear of the house about 6.25pm on Friday, June 24.

She said firefighters had the fire under control by 7pm.

The spokeswoman said investigators arrived the next morning to determine the cause of the fire.

A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said during the blaze, paramedics were on standby.

“No patients were treated and no transports were required from the scene,” she said.
