Dulacca crash: Man flown to hospital after truck, car crash on Warrego Hwy

A truck driver was not immediately aware he’d been involved in a crash west of Miles, which left a man needing to be flown to hospital, and had to be stopped by police and informed of the crash.

A man has been flown to hospital following a truck and car crash at Dulacca, west of Miles, on Saturday night.

Emergency crews were called to the scene of the crash on the Warrego Highway just before 8pm, the Queensland Ambulance Service reported.

A Queensland Police spokeswoman said the driver of the truck, which had a dolly attached, was not immediately aware of the crash and continued driving.

He was pulled over by police in relation to the crash a short while later.

The driver of the car, a man in his late 30s, was flown to Toowoomba Hospital with head and chest injuries.
