Fuel tanks go up in flames after rollover, major traffic disruptions
Multiple emergency services crews were called to the scene of a vehicle rollover and fire, which caused lengthy traffic disruptions west of Toowoomba. Here’s what happened.

Emergency services were called to the scene of a truck rollover which led to two fuel tanks catching on fire.
The incident occurred on Diamantina Developmental Road, in Quilpie, on Friday at 5.12pm.
It is understood the two fuel tanks which were being transported by a truck caught on fire after the vehicle rollover.
The driver of the truck was also able to disconnect the prime mover from the two fuel tanker trailers.
No one was injured during the incident or required transportation to hospital and no other vehicles were involved in the crash.
A spokeswoman for Queensland Fire and Emergency Services said two crews were initially called to the scene just before 6.40pm, but were later joined by two additional specialty crews.
By the time crews arrived on scene, one of the trailers had already burnt out, while the second continued to burn.
Fireys then liaised with the QFES scientific team who provided advice as crews continued to monitor the situation.
At about 10pm, the second trailer had burnt out and the QFES crews left the scene while teams from the Queensland Police Service and Transport and Main Roads remained on scene.
The vehicle was blocking the road and traffic impacts occurred late into the evening.
