Customers visiting the bp at Emerald can now enjoy barista-made coffee with the store opening a Wild Bean Cafe onsite.
The store serves barista made coffee and fresh food and is one of 30 locations across Australia to get a new or upgraded Wild Bean Cafe this year.
Bp’s senior manager for brand, communications and design in Asia Pacific, Leigh Taylor, knows good coffee is something customers want.
“We’re committed to creating the next generation of bp stores, and we know high-quality coffee prepared by trained baristas is one of the top requests our customers have,” Mr Taylor said.
“Whether they’re heading off to work, going on a road trip, taking the kids to sports, or visiting family and friends, people want to enjoy a good coffee on the road.”
Mr Taylor encourages people to use the BPme app, which not only stores a person’s loyalty cards, but allows them to order in advance.
“Our coffee numbers are huge and one thing we know is that people today are time-poor so anything we can do to save them time and reduce frustration with queues is a win-win,” he said.
“Being able to order your long black or flat white in advance has proven enormously popular, and allows people to get going in a quick, hassle-free way.”
Bp has run a number of promotions for customers to save on their favourite hot drinks from Wild Bean cafe.
Mr Taylor believes the company is always evolving to the customer’s needs.
“We are very much a part of our local communities and our aim is help people who are going places,” he said.
“We are at the forefront of digital innovation in retail and we actively play a regular role in our consumers’ busy lives.
“The Wild Bean revamp is part of that ongoing commitment.”
Bp Emerald is located at 65 Clermont Street, Emerald and is about 270 km west of Rockhampton.
