A house that was completely destroyed by fire in Emerald last year is being investigated as arson.
Emergency services were called to the single story occupied home at 112 Hospital Road, near Frazer Street, on June 13, 2021 about 9.20pm.
A Queensland Fire and Emergency Services spokeswoman said no one was at the address at the time.
The fire was contained by 10pm.
A crime scene was established and forensic investigations commenced.
According to Queensland Police Service, as a result of investigations and evidence obtained, the fire was now being investigated as arson.
A QPS spokeswoman said on Wednesday that investigations were ongoing into the suspicious fire.
Police are asking witnesses who previously contacted Crime Stoppers to recontact Emerald Criminal Investigation Branch.
Police are appealing for those with further video footage to provide it to Crime Stoppers or Emerald Police.
