A man in his mid-twenties has been airlifted to Rockhampton Hospital after he lost control of his quad bike and crashed into a tree while mustering cattle.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokesman said the incident occurred about 9.30am on December 4 north of Bluff, about two hours west of Rockhampton.
The man received suspected shoulder and chest injuries.
A CapRescue spokesperson said the Rescue300 helicopter was tasked to the scene while paramedics were providing initial care.
The helicopter landed in a paddock near the incident location, where CapRescue’s rescue team assessed and stabilised the man before transporting him to hospital.
