Emergency services respond to accidents in Gracemere, Rockhampton

A female e-scooter rider was treated after an incident in Gracemere, while a male patient is with ambulance officers after a two-vehicle accident in Rockhampton’s CBD.

A teenage e-scooter rider has been injured in an accident in a town on Rockhampton’s outskirts this afternoon.

A Queensland Police Service spokesperson said initial reports indicated another vehicle was involved in the accident, which happened about 4pm in McLaughlin Street, Gracemere.

A Queensland Ambulance Service spokesperson said the female e-scooter rider was being treated for facial injuries.

One lane of the street has been closed, with police on scene directing traffic.

Meanwhile, a male patient has been assessed by ambulance officers after a two-vehicle accident in Rockhampton’s CBD.

Police and ambulance officers responded to the crash at the corner of Stanley and Bolsover streets at 3.40pm.
