Schools reminded to redeem Woolworths Earn and Learn points

Woolworths is reminding all schools to redeem Earn and Learn points with the cut off date on September 20.

Time is running out to redeem Woolworths Earn & Learn points

The record number of participating schools and early learning centres across Australia are being encouraged to redeem their Woolworths Earn & Learn points before the Friday, 20 September deadline.

Rebekah Earp, Head of Community and Sustainability for Woolworths supermarkets, said: "This year's Woolworths Earn & Learn program has proven more popular than ever, with more than 14,000 schools registered, up on 12,500 last year.  This is the highest number of participants since we launched the program in 2011."

"As the 2013 program comes to a close, we are urging all participating schools to submit their points on time so they don't miss out on redeeming the valuable equipment and resources that they have earned."

Schools can use their Woolworths Earn & Learn points to select a range of educational equipment by selecting from almost 10,800 products spanning the maths, English, music, science, sports and arts curriculums.

In order to meet the changing needs of Australian schools and their students, Woolies added more than 3,000 new products to the Woolworths Earn & Learn range this year including new children's books, indigenous resources, robotics and health and physical education resources.

Registered schools and early learning centres need to redeem their Woolworths Earn & Learn points before Friday, 20 September by responding with their order to the email notification sent to the Woolworths Earn & Learn program co-ordinator. Alternatively, schools can visit www.teaching.com.au and log-in with their username and password.

All ordered goods will be delivered to schools during the first school term of 2014, giving school students and teachers the best opportunity to make use of their new equipment throughout the year.

This year, Woolworths welcomed Australian golden girl and singing sensation Jessica Mauboy on board as the official ambassador of the Earn & Learn program. Mauboy toured Australia, visiting schools and raising awareness of the program.
