CELEBRATING another year of friendships and support, Gayndah Senior Citizens held their annual Christmas lunch at the Golden Orange on Monday.

The group provides a social network to Gayndah residents, meeting every Monday to catch up and share stories.

"It's a regular meet up for anyone over 50 who just wants to come and chat and play cards,” member Beryl Palmer said.

"It provides support and a social network.”

Gayndah Senior Citizens welcome anyone who wants a group of friends to share their Mondays with, when they meet at Gayndah RSL Hall.

On Monday, 18 members enjoyed a morning tea of scones and cakes.

"And then we had a scrumptious buffet,” Mrs Palmer said.

Board games and cards had the group entertained for hours after they enjoyed the food.

Shirley, Rene and Allan took home more than they bargained for when they won lucky door and raffle prizes.
