A rescue helicopter was called in after a man fell from his horse while mustering cattle on Thursday.
The incident happened on a private property in Mount Perry in the North Burnett region, with the rescue helicopter sent to the scene about 11.46am.
It is believed the man, who was aged in his 60s, was mustering cattle when he fell.
Due to the steep terrain of the area, the team landed the helicopter in a paddock near the incident and the LifeFlight medical crew was driven up to the patient.
He was treated by the aeromedical team and local Queensland Ambulance Service paramedics, before he was transported back down to the aircraft.
The patient was flown to Bundaberg Hospital in a stable condition with shoulder and chest injuries.
