The incident follows heavy rainfall that led to widespread flooding across the broader region.
On Wednesday morning, the North Burnett Regional Council reported between 50-200mm of rain fell over 72 hours, with the highest totals recorded at Mount Goonaneman (213mm) and Mingo Creek (191mm).
The Burnett River at Mingo was flooded on Wednesday.

However, minor flood levels are expected along the Burnett, Boyne, and Auburn rivers as well as Degilbo Creek, which reached a major flood level overnight.
Rainfall has eased, but the Bureau of Meteorology and local authorities urge residents and travellers to remain cautious as floodwater continues to move through the region.
