Twin power to lead Dallarnil State school

IN WHAT could be the first time in the Dallarnil State School's history, twins will lead the school in 2019.

IN WHAT could be the first time in the Dallarnil State School's history, twins will lead the school in 2019.

To gain the honour, Catherine and Aeddan White had presented their speeches along with fellow Year 6 students on parade and voting was undertaken by their peers and staff.

Last Friday the announcement was made at a special morning tea and badge presentation ceremony.

What changes would you like to help introduce to your school this year?

Catherine: I would like to encourage more student participation by setting an example to other students myself by doing the activity

Aeddan: I would love to introduce our school to other schools in Queensland and show them how good our school is!

What do you want to do when you're older?

Catherine: When I'm older I would like to play cricket in the A Division for my team.

Aeddan: When I'm older I would like to be a professional cricketer and represent Australia.

Tell us about your favourite school events.

Catherine: My favourite school event is the Alpha Omega Sports carnivals which is when we have two teams who compete against each other to win the school trophy.

Aeddan: My favourite school event would probably be when we go to Cordalba school for our 'Leadership Day' once per term. It's great fun making new friends and doing the fun activities.

What sort of example do you want to set for the younger students?

Catherine: I would like to set an example of being a role model to the younger students by finishing all my work on time and to the best of my ability.

Aeddan: I would like to set a great example by showing kindness and honesty towards all students.
