Car fire shuts down southbound lanes on Pacific Motorway, Gold Coast
A car fire has shut down the southbound lanes on the Pacific Motorway in Gold Coast, but the road was reopened at 10.30pm.

Southbound lanes on the Pacific Motorway has reopened after being closed on Monday night, as emergency services worked to contain a car fire.
The car was moved to the side of the road at 10.30pm and the road has now been reopened for traffic.
It’s believed no one was injured in the incident.
Diversions were in place for those heading southbound towards Nielsens Rd at Exit 73.
Police advised motorists to avoid the area while the blaze was being contained.
