A gala ball has capped of an incredible 10-day Milbi Festival.

A six-piece band entertained guests on Saturday night at the Bundaberg Multiplex which was turned into underwater oasis with a complimenting raffle furthering the important work of protecting the region’s oceans.

Bundaberg residents partied the night away in their most spectacular outfits as ballgowns and bow ties mingled with creatures of the sea.

The Milbi Festival program celebrated the arts, culture and environment of the traditional custodians of the land from the Taribelang Bunda, Gooreng Gooreng, Gurang and Bailai people.
