Bundy is in full boom mode when it comes to cafes and bakeries, and another popular local cafe is now gearing up to open at a second location.

One of Bundaberg‘s most popular cafe restaurants is opening in a new, second location.

River Cruz will open a bakery and cafe at the site that once housed restaurant Grand Ma‘s Kitchen at 3/369 Bourbong Street.

The existing Quay Street cafe offers a range of meals, cakes and drinks.

Bundaberg‘s cafe culture has been booming in recent months, with several new spots open in the city.

Dopamine cafe opened recently on Bourbong Street, while the Library Bar has taken on the old Lushus Cakes building in the heart of the city.

Other new cafes include Espresso Loca on Quay Street and Mini Bee mobile coffee on 9 Maryborough Street.

Popular Bargara cafe The Journey is just a few weeks away from opening a second cafe in the Bundy CBD.
