Two taken to hospital after crash

A statement from the Queensland Ambulance Service said a woman in her 20s was taken to Bundaberg Hospital in a stable condition, suffering chest injuries.

The incident, at the intersection of Ashfield Rd and Elliott Heads Rd, was reported at 9.18pm.

The incident happened just hours after a single-vehicle crash at Agnes Water.

Paramedics took a stable male patient in his 50s with a head injury to Bundaberg Hospital after a single-vehicle crash on Captain Cook Drive at 6.52pm.

The crashes follow a busy weekend across the region, with a crash at Oakwood on Saturday and a truck rollover at Monduran on Sunday afternoon.
