Young Wallaville man charged with alleged hooning near Gin Gin
When police searched his home they found the car alleged to be involved in a hooning offence. But this turned out to be the least of the young driver’s problems.

An alleged decision to do burnouts and speed almost 80kms over the speed limit has landed a young driver in court on serious drug and gun charges.
The 21-year-old from Wallaville was allegedly driving a blue Ford Falcon sedan at 179km/h in a 100 zone at Delan.
On Monday, police searched a Gin Gin home where they found the blue car alleged to be involved.
Police will allege the search also uncovered a gun and drug haul and as a result, the young man was charged with 23 offences.
These include driving without a licence, evading police, driving unlicensed and unregistered, wilfully making unnecessary noise producing and possessing dangerous drugs, shortening firearms and unlawful possession of weapons.
The man is expected to appear in Bundaberg Magistrates Court on November 1.
The car was also impounded pending his appearance.
