A teenager has died after two motorcycles crashed into each other on a popular regional Qld beach near Bundaberg.
Police said the 17 year-old male rider from Meadowvale collided with other rider, a 20 year-old male from Bundaberg North at around 8pm Saturday on Coonarr Beach.
The teenager sadly died at the scene from critical injuries, a Queensland Ambulance spokesperson said.
The 20 year-old motorcyclist was taken to Bundaberg Hospital in a stable condition, but with serious leg and arm injuries.
This is one of a number of serious accidents along Coonarr Beach, 20 minutes south of Bundaberg, after a 4WD rollover left five people seriously injured in June.
Police are investigating the incident and urge anyone with relevant vision or further information to contact them.
