Stolen goods to unlicensed driving: Brodie Groat faces over 20 charges

A man appearing in a Bundaberg court from behind bars has been charged with more than 20 offences including numerous traffic indiscretions and having stolen property.

A man has faced a Bundaberg court accused of more than 20 offences including a break-in, traffic offences and having stolen property.

Brodie James Groat, currently in the Maryborough Correctional Centre on remand, appeared via video link in the Bundaberg Magistrates Court accused of more than 20 serious charges today, July 15.

In a short mention, Mr Groat’s case was adjourned to August 8 and he did not enter any pleas.

The charges against Mr Groat included contravention of a probation officer, two charges of driving without a licence (repeat offender), two driving an uninsured vehicle offences, five charges of driving without a licence demerit points, unlawful possession of suspected stolen property, using or permitting use of a vehicle for which a number plate attached was for another vehicle, enter premises and commit indictable offence by break, evasion, failure to appear in accordance with undertaking, three counts of stealing, unlawful use of motor vehicle, and three counts of having an unregistered vehicle on the road.
