Police seek help to find man who robbed teenage girl

Bundaberg police are seeking help from the public to find and arrest a man who allegedly robbed a teenage girl in the city centre in the early hours of the morning. Watch the CCTV footage:

Unarmed Robbery, Bundaberg Central

Bundaberg police are seeking assistance from the public to identify a man who allegedly robbed a teenage girl after knocking her to the ground in Bundaberg Central.

After following the girl as she was walking along Bourbong St early in the morning of Saturday, May 20, police say the man ran at her, and knocked her to the ground at the intersection of Bourbong and Barolin Streets.

After a struggle, he allegedly grabbed her mobile phone and left the scene on foot heading in a southerly direction along Barolin Street.

Motorcyclist critically injured in Bundaberg Central collision

A Queensland Police Service spokesperson said the girl was not injured in the incident, which occurred around 4.25am.

Police urged the man involved in the incident or anyone who recognises him from the CCTV footage to contact police.
