Police investigate alleged assault of Bundaberg delivery driver
Images of a man and a car have been released by police as they investigate the alleged assault of a driver who had stopped on a busy central Bundaberg street.

Police are seeking public help to identify a man who allegedly launched a violent midday assault on a delivery driver in Bundaberg.
The alleged incident occurred near the corner of Woongarra and Tantitha Streets in Bundaberg Central on the afternoon of February 5, 2024.
Police allege that at roughly 2:10pm that day, a driver pulled over to make a delivery to businesses on Woongarra Street.
“At the same time, a man exited the passenger seat of a white Toyota LandCruiser and allegedly assaulted the delivery driver,” a police spokeswoman said.
“Police are seeking public assistance to help identify the man and the vehicle.”
They have released still images taken from CCTV of the alleged man and his vehicle.

It is unknown to what extent the alleged victim was injured as a result of the incident.
