TWO photographs of a person of interest have been released by police as part of their investigation into a robbery with violence at St George.
A patron of a local hotel was walking home on Victoria St at 2am on Monday, August 26 when two men approached him from behind.
The men took a mobile phone out of his hand and pushed him to the ground where he fell to his knees. The two men then ran from the scene with the victim’s iPhone.
The man suffered significant grazing to both knees as well as a graze to his left arm.
Police wish to speak to the identified suspect who is described as about 170cm tall and heavy-set. He is seen to be wearing a light blue-grey hooded jumper, long black trousers with grey shoes and a red baseball cap.
Police are appealing for assistance in identifying the man depicted in the photos.
Investigations are continuing.
