A young Bundaberg region man accused of a list of horrifyingly violent crimes will remain behind bars while he waits to front the district court.
Gary Lee Burgess appeared in Bundaberg Magistrates Court by videolink on Tuesday where details of his case were discussed by way of a mention.

Mr Burgess, 21, faces five counts of assault occasioning bodily harm while armed and in company, all domestic violence offences.
He is also charged with two counts of choking/suffocation/strangulation (domestic violence offence), one count of deprivation of liberty by unlawfully confining someone (domestic violence offence), one count of grievous bodily harm (domestic violence offence) and one count each of wounding and torture (domestic violence offences).
Mr Burgess is also accused of the serious assault of a police officer causing bodily harm.
Magistrate John McInnes adjourned Mr Burgess’s case for committal instructions in March.
His case will be dealt with in the district court due to the seriousness of the charges.
