The pair self-represented when their case was mentioned.
They face a charge of producing a dangerous drug in excess of 500g, two counts of supplying, one count of possessing a dangerous drug and another of possessing anything in connection with the use of a dangerous drug.
The charges were brought against the couple in July of 2022.
Judge Leanne Clare urged the defendants to get moving on finalising their case after the pair said their legal representatives had dropped them.
“This has been around for some time,” Judge Leanne Clare said.
“It sounds like the two of you have been dragging your feet. It can't go on forever.
“For whatever reason you‘ve farnarkeled around for nearly a year and if you continue to be seeking representation after various things fall over what will happen is that the court will probably consider the question of your bail... and two, list it for trial if that is your intention... while you’re unrepresented.”
Pleas were not mentioned in the sitting.
The couple’s next appearance will be in April 2023.
