Boaden Jai McMurtrie didn’t hold back when it came to admitting the foolishness of his actions in Bundaberg Magistrates Court.
McMurtrie pleaded guilty to driving with both methamphetamine and methylenedioxymethamphetamine, commonly known as MDMA, in his system.
The Bundaberg man was pulled over for a random stop by police on Sims Road on July 21.
A saliva test found the drugs in his system.
Facing Magistrate Andrew Moloney, McMurtrie pleaded guilty to the charge of driving with a relevant drug in his system.
When asked if he had anything to say, McMurtrie didn’t mince words.
“Just being a bit of a d---head at the moment,” he said, to which Magistrate Moloney said: “you describe yourself aptly”.
McMurtrie was fined $350 and disqualified from driving for one month.
A conviction was recorded.
