An alleged crime spree in a stolen car has landed two teens in court after some dramatic near misses ahead of Anzac Day.
A police statement released on Monday said a stolen Mitsubishi was found in Kensington on April 27, with some help from the public, and that two 16-year-olds had been charged.
A Walkervale girl was arrested on Anzac Day, April 25, and charged with unlawful use of a motor vehicle, police said.
She is due to appear in the Bundaberg Children's Court on April 29.
A 16-year-old Bundaberg South boy was arrested the same day, and charged with unlawful use of a motor vehicle and stealing.
He was remanded in custody and faced Bundaberg Children's Court on April 28.
The car was allegedly stolen from Warrell Street, Millbank, about 4pm on April 23.
Police allege it was then used in several incidents on April 24, including a burglary on Sienna Boulevard, Ashfield, about 1.20am, where the teens allegedly tried but failed to steal two other vehicles.
Later that same morning at 4.50am, a silver Mitsubishi Lancer allegedly hit and injured a 51-year-old male cyclist on Headlands Esplanade in Innes Park, then left the scene.
Shortly after at 5.15am, it allegedly hit but did not injure a 56-year-old pedestrian on Barolin Street, Walkervale and did not stop, the police statement said.
Investigations into all incidents are ongoing, and the car remains with police for forensic examination.
Police have appealed to anyone with information or who has dash cam or CCTV of the silver Mitsubishi Lancer, to contact police.
