A motorcyclist has been killed after a two vehicle crash near Bundaberg on Thursday afternoon.
The 66-year-old man was critically injured in the collision between a car and motorbike at the intersection of Rosedale Road and Smith’s Crossing Road at Avondale.
Investigations indicate, at about 1.00pm, a motorcycle and a white van collided at the intersection of Rosedale Road and Smiths Crossing Road, Avondale.
The rider of the motorcycle, an Avondale man, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The Forensic Crash Unit is asking for any witnesses to the crash, or anyone with dash-cam footage of either vehicle prior to the incident, to contact police.
