Police have charged a 23-year-old South Isis man with drink driving after a dramatic crash at the intersection of Takalvan and Walker Sts on Saturday night.

A police spokeswoman said officers were called to the scene of the Bundaberg West crash around 7pm, after the incident caused a vehicle to roll onto its side, while the other vehicle left the scene.

The smash resulted in a younger and older man in the flipped vehicle needing to be taken to hospital.

According to the Queensland Ambulance Service, an adult man with a hand injury and a teenage boy with a leg injury were taken to Bundaberg Hospital in a stable condition.

Police told the Bundaberg NewsMail that investigations led them to the South Isis man following the crash.

He will face Bundaberg Magistrates Court on June 30 on one count of driving under the influence of liquor.
