Man injured when excavator rolls over him on Bundaberg property
A man has been flown to hospital after a frightening farm accident where he’d tried to outrun heavy machinery as it rolled down a hill near Bundaberg.

A man has been flown to hospital after being run over by his own excavator when he tried to flee the machine after it stalled on a hill.
According to a RACQ LifeFlight spokeswoman, the man, aged in his 50s, was working on a private property southwest of Bundaberg about 2pm Friday when the incident happened.
He had been driving the excavator up a hill when it stalled and started to roll backwards.
The man jumped tried to escape by jumping from the machine, but it ran over him.
He suffered lower limb injuries and was flown to Bundaberg Hospital.
