A Bundaberg Magistrates Court has heard the latest on a man accused of setting fire to a Bundaberg church.

The man charged with setting fire to Bundaberg’s St Mary‘s Church in 2020 was was committed to trial on other charges in Bundaberg Magistrates Court on Thursday.
Jeffrey Michael Baker is accused of multiple crimes, including serious assault of a police officer, obstruct police, public nuisance, attempted fraud, stealing and contravene police direction.
Mr Baker is currently in custody and was represented by a lawyer at the court on Thursday.
The matter was committed to the Bundaberg District Court for trial on April 8, 2022.
