GALLERY: Glamour and grand entrances as Bundaberg graduates go out in style
From arriving on horseback to vintage Chevrolets, Bundaberg's Class of 2025 has redefined formal fashion with sequined gowns and creative grand entrances.
In the recent week passed, hundreds of Bundaberg region students marked the an end of an era in stellar suits and dazzling dresses.
While the graduating class of 2025 might be ready to enjoy their new-found freedom before planning their next steps forward, there’s a lot to be celebrated.
Take a brief step back in time and check out some of the standout formal looks from across the Bundaberg Region.
Bundaberg State High
Bundaberg State High school students were among the first out the gates with their formal celebration.
Among the standouts As crowds gathered at Brothers Club on a Thursday afternoon, a buzz of anticipation filled the balmy spring air.
Friends and family of graduating class flocked to the back courtyard to catch a glimpse of the glamour.
The evening kicked off about 5pm on Thursday, September 18, with the first arrival rocking up in Black Chevrolet Rat Rod.
The night was filled with a stunning display of vintage and modern cars, sparkling and elegant dresses and dapper suits.
Standouts from the evening was Xzavier Thorpe, and Mya Patterson who both showed up in style on a motorbike, and Bronte Medlock who stunned on her paint horse named Lucky.
Elaborately sequined dresses seemed to be this years style of choice, with shades of blue being the clear winner of the season.

St Luke’s Anglican College
The formal fanfare continued with St Luke’s on November 20.
About 5.45pm, one of the first arrivals kicked off the celebrations in a 1924 vintage Chevrolet.
Corsetted dresses seemed to be this year’s style of choice, with shades of red the clear favourite of the season.
The night was filled with an impressive display of vintage and modern cars, sparkling and elegant dresses and dapper suits.
Standouts from the evening included Jackson who sported a stylishly decorated suit finished with flowers and intricate brooches.
As the evening unfolded, the graduating class gathered on the lawn awaiting the arrival of the rest of their friends.
The last arrivals — Aiden and Porscha closed out the show, arriving together in a sleek sports car, the festivities swiftly continuing inside.

Gin Gin State High School
Students gathered at The Waves Sports Club on Wednesday evening for the Gin Gin State High school formal.
It was the Class of 2025’s moment to shine and the weather turned it on to help celebrate the milestone event.
Riley and Tai kicked the evening off at 5.30pm, arriving in style in a light blue Holden Monaro.
A large crowd of friends and family watched the dazzling sea of blue, purple, and red hues with great enthusiasm.
A standout of the evening was the arrival of Emma in a purple limousine that matched her dress perfectly and David and Abbey who wowed the crowd with their grand entrance, standing tall on the back of their ute.
Sparkly blue dresses were this year’s style of choice, with purple a close second among the girls.
The young gentlemen opted for simple, elegant suits with colourful-patterned ties.

Bundaberg North State High School
Back at Brothers Club, friends and family found their place among the grandstands that bordered the back courtyard.
The red carpet was rolled and an array of vintage cars lined up for the festivities to begin.
Shades of red and blue appeared to be a popular colour for this years graduates.
Kyla Pardon and Calandra Kemp paid homage to their daily commute — rocking up in a white school bus for the very last time.
There was a momentary halt in the procession when one car stalled — car enthusiasts were quick to jump in and give it a community push.
The last arrivals — Haylee Croswell and Sarah Dyball closed out the show on horses, with the festivities swiftly continuing inside.

Kepnock State High
The last school to go out with a bang, Kepnock State High School did not disappoint.
Classic cars, sensational suits and dazzling dresses stole the show at Kepnock State High formal evening on Friday 31.
Hundreds of people gathered at Brothers Club to watch the spectacle unfold.
The pleasant spring evening was thick with excitement as the first car rolled through the gates about 5.30pm.
Tamzyn Lamb and Jacob Cowan kicked of the celebrations in 1968 Pyrmont green HK Holden Kingswood.
Shades of red, blue and pink appeared to be the colours of choice among the 130 plus graduating students.
Many favouring sparkles and lace bodice dresses.
Lilac and plum coloured dresses were also a fan favourite.
The young men in attendance did not disappoint either. Mny sporting dapper suits.
There were also a couple cracker mullets and even a cape or two.
