A woman was rushed to hospital following a shed fire at a Burnett Heads property on Tuesday.

A Queensland Fire and Emergency Services spokesman said three fire crews were dispatched to a property on Creevey St in Burnett Heads shortly after 9am.

Firecrews found a 10 by 10m shed on fire at the address, with two people present at the property.

The fire was extinguished at 10,05am, the spokesman said.

A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said a female patient was transported to Bundaberg Hospital with suspected smoke inhalation.

A Queensland Police Service spokesman said units were called to the incident at 8.50am.
