Man suffers ‘significant’ injuries after motorbike hits kangaroo
A motorcyclist’s night time ride on a rural road has ended in hospital after his bike struck a kangaroo.

A 21-year-old man has been taken to hospital with “significant” injuries after the motorbike he was riding collided with a kangaroo.
The crash happened at the intersection of Bundaberg Gin Gin Road and Kookaburra Park Drive about 8pm Thursday night.
A Queensland Ambulance spokesman said the man was left with significant injuries to his arms and pelvis was transported stable to Bundaberg Hospital.
A Queensland Police Service spokeswoman said the man was riding his Yamaha YZS R3 at the time of the incident and the bike was left with “major damage”.
Investigations are ongoing.
