Elegance, glamour and good times have defined the 2023 formal season, with hundreds of Year 12 graduates saying goodbye to their high school journey in style.

Year 12 students from across the Bundaberg region stepped out in style for this year’s formal season, with hundreds of students celebrating the end of the secondary schooling in glamorous fashion.

The elegant events held across Bundaberg were met with cheers and tears from family and friends who watched their loved ones walk the red carpet to the biggest party of their young lives.

More than 100 students and their partners partied the night away at the Kepnock State High School formal on Friday, November 17.

Stand out arrivals at The Brothers Sports Club event were Halle Burton and Kyle Hodges who arrived in a W900 Legend Kenworth truck to the cheers of the crowd.

Bundaberg Special School Formal 2023

Nine students from the Bundaberg Special School celebrated their 2023 formal in style on Tuesday, November 14.

The event, held at the Waves Sports Club was one of joy and celebration with smart suits and pale dresses trending among arrivals.

Students from Isis State High School arrived to their 2023 formal looking like models and movie stars on Wednesday, November 15.

More than 50 graduates walked the red carpet to the Isis State High School stadium for a night of glitz and glamour.

St Luke’s Anglican College Formal 2023

It was a night of glitz and glamour at the St Luke’s Anglican College 2023 formal held on Wednesday, November 15.

Stand-out arrivals at the Brother Sports Club event included Safi Hossain on a GoKart and Jasmine Gill in a gown designed by local designer Wolf Blonde.

More than 50 students attended the event, with cheers of celebration flowing throughout the night.

Classic cars and trucks were trending among arrivals for the Bundaberg North State High School formal on Thursday, November 16.

The stylish event, held at The Brothers Sports Club was celebrated by more than 50 students.

Silk dresses with classic silhouettes were the fashion among the students, with Ned Woodbury and Mohi Mahina decked out in “ula loles”, the candy necklaces of Pacific Islander tradition.

Gin Gin State High School Formal 2023

More than 50 students from Gin Gin State High School strutted the red carpet to their 2023 formal at Rowers on the River.

The event, held on Wednesday, November 15, was met by cheers from family and friends celebrating the incredible achievement.

Sparkling dresses were trending among arrivals but Kayla McCotter and Cody Cingle stole the show, arriving last in a Kenworth W900 Legend Prime Mover.
