One of Bundaberg’s industrial centres is getting a boost with plans for an all hours, unmanned service station being given the go-ahead by the region’s council.
A 24-seven Pacific Petroleum service station has been approved for development at 25 and 27 Verdant Siding Road, Thabeban,
The unmanned facility will serve Pacific Petroleum fuel trucks, Pacific card holders, and the public.
The 3025m² site, sold in October 2023 for $558,800, is located in Bundaberg’s industry zone on the southern outskirts of the city., aligning with the council’s planning scheme.
The development will include five double-sided fuel bowsers, truck storage, an office, and amenities, along with parking and heavy vehicle access.
Bundaberg Regional Council said in its approval documents the project was well-suited to the area, and had addressed parking, flood mitigation, and streetscape appeal during planning.
The facility will connect to full connected services, feature compliant lighting, and implement environmental safeguards to minimise impact.
