Bundaberg property owners with unpaid rates are at risk of having their homes and properties sold, as the council moved to recover almost $40,000 in unpaid rates.
Four properties will be listed for auction in the coming months, with hopes to recoup $39,766.10 for the council coffers.
‘Serious’ investigation into Bundaberg Police launched
The move comes as owners have failed to pay rates for at least three years, with one property owing $12,018.27.

The council is hoping to recoup $10,115.29 in unpaid rates from as early as January 2019.
85 Woongarra Street, Bundaberg West 4670
The number 7 unit will be auctioned in the hopes of recovering $12,018.27 of unpaid rates.
4 Hansen Street, Burnett Heads 4670
The three bedroom, two bathroom home will be auctioned in the hopes of recovering $9,476.68 worth of unpaid rates.
The property was last sold in 2007 for $100,000.
48 One World Drive, Redridge 4670
This vacant block of land sits on 6,937sq m of land with council hoping to recoup $8,115.86 worth of unpaid rates from 2018 onwards.
