Bundaberg gets new hardware store as Sydney Tools finds home on Johanna Blvd

Kensington is set to see another hardware store set up shop following a recent development application approval.
A material change of use for hardware and trade supplies at 20 Johanna Blvd, Kensington lodged with the Bundaberg Regional Council has been approved.
Bayswater Holding Pty Ltd is the listed applicant for this proposal.
According to the application documents, “the proposal involves partial development of the site for a commercial building to facilitate the expansion of Sydney Tools which is one of Australia’s largest wholesaler and retailer of industrial tools”.
Among the listed features proposed for this development are 51 formalised car parks including two designated disabled parking bays.
The proposal outlined 6 – 12 staff on-site and operating hours of 7.30am to 5pm Sunday to Monday.
This is approval comes after Total Tools was approved for the former Chipmunks Playland and Cafe Bundaberg site.
