Bruce Highway blocked: three patients taken to hospital after crash
A man has been flown to hospital in a serious condition after a horror crash on the Bruce Highway.

A man has been flown to hospital after a serious crash on the Bruce Highway on Tuesday.
The crash was reported around 3pm Tuesday at Kolonga, with the LifeFlight rescue helicopter responding to fly one man to the Bundaberg Hospital.
It is believed the man, aged in his 50s was travelling along the highway before his car collided head-on with an oncoming vehicle.
He was initially treated at the scene, before being transported with multiple injuries to his chest, pelvis and legs.
Two other persons were treated at the scene.
A man and a woman both aged in their 60s were driven to Bundaberg Base Hospital both in stable conditions.
A Queensland Police Service spokeswoman said as of 7pm the highway remained closed in both directions., however is now open.
She said the forensic crash unit would investigate.

He said none of the people involved suffered life-threatening injuries.
Queensland Fire and Emergency Services crews have also responded, with a spokesman confirming no patients were trapped in the vehicles when they arrived.
Police have reported the Highway is now open.
