Tributes are pouring in for a young motorcyclist killed in a horror crash near Bundaberg this week.

Tributes are pouring in for a 21-year-old man killed in a horror motorcycle crash on Thursday.

Avenell Heights man Brayden Roy died when the red Honda motorcycle he was riding collided with a car near a school in Maroondan.

Emergency services received the call at 11am after the collision near the intersection of Mellvilles Rd and Bundaberg Gin Gin Rd, close the Maroondan State School.

Trinitii Lee said she would miss her friend.

“I don’t even know what to say except that I’ll miss your face and your kind heart,” she wrote.

“You were so beautifully natured and you always made me laugh.

“You will be missed by everyone, you were a light in the dark.

“You didn’t deserve this at all.”

Lissa Brooker said Mr Roy was a “beautiful soul”.

“Gone too soon, my condolences to all the friends and family, he will be missed by many,” she wrote.

Sharon-Lea Braddon-Bayliss said she was thinking of his family and his mates.

“I know my son’s heart is hurting this morning,” she wrote.

“He has always loved and respected this young man.”

Tobias Carkeet also paid tribute.

“Rest easy my dude, you were such a happy soul.”

Dee Verner posted a message of sympathy for Mr Roy’s family.

“Deepest sympathies, thoughts and prayers go to this young man’s family and friends, I’ so sorry for your unimaginable loss.

“My thoughts and prayers also go to the emergency services and all who attended and witnessed this tragic accident.”

The driver of the Ford Ranger, an 81-year-old Horse Camp man did not sustain any physically injuries.

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating the circumstances and anyone with relevant CCTV or dashcam footage is urged to contact police.
