Brisbane Airport Lost Property Auction takes off for 2024

From gaming consoles, to Lego, camping gear and high-end fashion, if you’re looking for a bargain you can’t go past this unique auction.

The 2024 Brisbane Airport Lost Property Auction has officially kicked off, with some incredible lost and found items set to go under the hammer to raise money for young Queenslanders through The Courier-Mil Children’s Fund.

There will be almost 500 unique lots for auction with no reserve, including iPads, cameras, a boombox, fishing gear, bikes and even an electric drum kit.

“It is simply bizarre some of the items left behind by the 60,000 passengers passing through Brisbane Airport each day,” Brisbane Airport media and corporate affairs manager Peter Doherty said.

“There are items to entertain you, surprise you, and even relax you, with a full massage table

that’s been left behind in our terminal.

“There’s even CPAP machines for a better night’s sleep.”

To give the auction a special boost a range of airport goods will also be up for grabs - including a 12-month airport parking voucher and a behind-the-scenes tour of the airport - and some incredible sports memorabilia from both the Brisbane Lions and Brisbane Heat.
