Bribie Island Road crash: Fears for motorcyclist after crash on Bribie Island Road north of Brisbane
There are fears for a motorcyclist who has sustained life-threatening injuries in a serious crash that has left a major road north of Brisbane closed for more than three hours.

There are fears for a motorcyclist who has sustained life-threatening injuries at the scene of a serious crash that has closed a major road north of Brisbane.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating after the motorcycle ridden by man in his 50s collided with the back of a second vehicle on Bribie Island Road between Hickey Rd and Old Toorbul Rd.
Multiple emergency crews were called to the scene about 4.21am, with the man sustaining life-threatening head injuries.
The road has been closed since.

A Queensland Fire Department spokeswoman said fire crews assisted with some fuel on the road.
A Queensland Police Service spokesman said the Forensic Crash Unit was also called to the scene and would be investigating the crash.
Investigations are ongoing and motorists are advised to avoid the area at this time.
