Australia’s largest Caravaning event will kick off in Brisbane this week with more than a 1000 RV’s on site and hundreds of exhibitors showcasing the growing lifestyle.
No longer just for grey nomads, more than a quarter of a million Queenslanders now have an RV registration as more people opt for freedom and flexibility with their holidays.
Outdoor enthusiasts Miriam Mace and Chris Maujean from Aussie Unknown Adventures have become famous for touring around Australia in the kitted out Caravan.
The duo will be presenting at this year's Caravan and Camping super show spreading a simple message - a furry friend was no excuse to stop your next adventure.
“The beauty of life on the road is that there are so many different ways to do it—with or without pets,” she said.
“While travelling with pets can be a bit tricky, it can be incredibly rewarding. With a little planning, it’s more than possible to bring your furry family members along for the ride.
“Queensland, in particular, offers a wealth of pet-friendly caravan parks and campgrounds. Rivershore Ingenia and Gold Coast Holiday park are just two pet-friendly parks you can visit.”
The event will run from Wednesday to Sunday at the Brisbane Showgrounds and feature an array of the industries best caravanning and camping equipment.
