A Tyndale man who breached his bail conditions has been sentenced after being caught with drugs and weapons and driving unlicensed in an unregistered red Holden Commodore.
Jack Lockhart, 29, pleaded guilty to all matters before the court including fresh charges of driving unlicensed in an unregistered vehicle on March 23 at Dunoon Crescent, Maclean.
He also pleaded guilty to possessing methamphetamine, a meth pipe, a steel file and a steel crowbar.
Lockhart was already on bail for three counts of assault (domestic violence) and two counts of stalk and intimidate, alleged to have occurred at Maclean between March 3 and March 6.
The fresh charges include possess prohibited drug, possess equipment for administering a prohibited drug, custody of a knife in a public place, custody of an offensive implement in a public place, drive while licence suspended and use of an unregistered motor vehicle.
He pleaded guilty to both the historical and fresh charges in Maclean Court on Thursday.
Magistrate Sinclair convicted Lockhart and sentenced him to a 12 month community corrections order ending March 26 2026.
In relation to the driving matters, Lockhart is disqualified from driving for three months and has been fined a total of $300.
A two year apprehended violence order (domestic violence) is in place to protect the victim of the assaults and stalk and intimidation offences.
