A Grenfell man has faced court and been convicted after threatening his neighbour with a stick.
Kamahl Bennett, 54, appeared in Young Local Court on Wednesday where he pleaded guilty to two counts of intimidation and intending to cause fear of physical harm.
The man was apprehended on May 30 after he used a stick to threaten a neighbour, making it look like he had a firearm.
The man pointed the long object, covered in a jumper, at the neighbour before making threats and leaving.
Police were called to reports a man had a firearm at a unit block on East Street and Bennett was located nearby.
Bennett was convicted and sentenced to a 12 month community corrections order.
