One lucky Territorian has been become the newest millionaire following an eye-watering NT KENO win - and they don’t even know it. Find out where the money was won.

One lucky Territorian has won the perfect end to the week with more than $1m extra in their bank account.

They just don’t know it yet.

The lucky recipient won a whopping $1,617,895.20 on the NT KENO 10-Spot after picking up their ticket at the Karama Tavern just after 6pm on Thursday night.

The winning numbers were 20, 13, 12, 9, 22, 28, 1, 6, 21 and 10 on Game 826 with the player purchasing a $20 NT KENO ticket.

This is the fourth 10-Spot Jackpot to go off in the last year bringing winnings from 10-Spots to a total of $6,721,414.10.

An NT KENO representative said they were so excited to give the winner their unclaimed prize.

“We’re so excited to give away this incredible prize to our lucky winner,” they said.

“If you visited the Karama Tavern last night and purchased a $20 NT KENO 10-Spot ticket please head to your nearest NT KENO venue and check if yours is the lucky ticket.”

Mindil Beach Casino Resort general manager Avril Baynes said she was excited to make somebody’s day when they claimed the money.

“It’s sizeable enough to make a big difference to someone’s life. We’re keen to make somebody’s day with $1.6m,” she said.

The winner has up to 12 months to claim their winnings at either the Karama Tavern or Mindil Beach Casino.
