A Howard Springs woman has won more than $1m in Keno at Howard Springs Tavern

A lucky woman has won in excess of a million dollars, shouting the bar in celebration. LATEST.

Howard Springs Tavern, the Territory’s best pub, just got a whole lot better.

A Howard Springs local has just won in excess of a million dollars at Keno.

The woman won the spot 10 prize on Saturday afternoon with the pub packed with locals.

The pub manager said the exact total of the woman’s winnings was not known, but would certainly be in excess of a million dollars.

Last week a Keno winner walked away with in excess of $5m after scooping the mega millions jackpot.

The manager said the woman became aware of her win as the pub celebrated the jackpot going off.

“There was a lot of yelling and screaming,” she said.

The woman then shouted the bar.

Howard Springs Tavern was named the Territory’s best pub at this year’s Hospitality NT’s excellence awards.
