GOLD Coast Insta-famous girls have shared their secrets to making big bucks on the social media site, with some models earning more for a single Instagram post than four days of work.
Social media sensations, who are generally models, say they easily make thousands of dollars for featuring carefully-placed products in their Instagram selfies.
But it is only when you gain a 100,000-strong following that the product endorsement offers start flowing in.
Beauty queen Gabrielle Epstein, 21, who is approaching a massive 700,000 followers on her Instagram page, said she now earns more for one Instagram post than she would for four days work as a model.

The Broadbeach model promotes brands including clothes, health foods and teeth-whitening products by cleverly placing them in her daily posts.
Her Instagram feed is mixed with candid insights into her life along with the product-placement posts – driving huge numbers of “likes” and comments from her followers.
She said the engagement was a key lure for advertisers who pay her hundreds of dollars for a single post and thousands of dollars for a brand campaign featuring multiple posts staggered out across several weeks. “I definitely (earn more money from Instagram), 100 per cent,” said Ms Epstein, who came on the radar of advertisers once she hit 100k followers.
“About a year and a half ago I was travelling to Brisbane a lot for work and by the time you take out the agency’s 20 per cent, GST on commission and then tax, the model is left with little.”
The former Miss Universe Australia representative, who makes her own terms and conditions when it comes to posting pictures and only posts products she genuinely uses, said the bigger brands required approval of her post before it went up. “Some go through my management (London Management) but others I just send a general brief with some terms like, I have the discretion to delete a post after four weeks if I wish.”
Singing sensation Cody Simpson’s lifelong friend Ruby Green, 17, of Miami, not only keeps her nearly 200,000 fans in the loop on her life but also pleases her regular endorsers with promotional posts.
Ruby has businesses sending her gifts and paying her to post their products.
“Instagram has its perks and has helped me a lot with getting my name out there,” she said.
