A BURLEIGH Waters studio has been voted the Gold Coast’s best brow stylist.
Samantha White is the stylist behind Eye Slay Studio, which specialises in cosmetic tattooing.
She gained more than 42% of the votes in the Best of Gold Coast competition, which ran across the past week.
Having only been operating since October last year, Ms White has gained a huge social media following, currently holding over 2600 followers on Instagram.
She is excited and “pretty surprised” to be the winning stylist, despite her popularity.
“I’ve only had the business for about a year, so I was not expecting it,” she said.
Ms White runs the studio herself, directing her own promotions and personally handling bookings through her Instagram account.
“I’m pretty happy where I am, I like being individual and I’m not wanting to expand,” she said.
Since a young age, Ms White was interested in cosmetic tattooing, and she’s passionate about making her clients feel confident.
“I’ve always wanted to be a brow stylist; seeing people’s reaction to their new brows is the best part,” she said.
Ever so humble, Ms White accepts her title gracefully and sends well wishes to the other stylists considered.
“Congratulations to everybody who was nominated, it was definitely a close call at times,” she said.
“Thank you so much for the votes.”

• Nominations, via the comments section our Facebook post, were calculated and finalists have now been announced.
